Photography Classes || Bend, Oregon Photographer

STAY TUNED... currently no classes scheduled

Nuts & Bolts of Photography
Ages: 16 & up

I have taught this class for a couple of years now & LOVE it! It's a comprehensive photography class where you learn the fundamental tools of photography and get out of the automatic modes of your digital camera! Topics include: exposure, metering modes, focus, aperture, shutter speed, ISO, and how they affect the look of your photographs. No experience required.

This workshop covers the basics of photography, including understanding exposure and how that applies to your digital camera, so you can think like your point and shoot, or start to venture out of the automatic modes of your DSLR.

This class is designed to encourage a good, solid learning pace. Photography has many working parts, and can be confusing. We meet four times, for two hours each evening. Students can expect homework, designed to reinforce what we've learned in class. By committing to 4 evenings, students can expect to reinforce each week's lessons in a logical and fun manner. My students have left excited about their cameras, and excited to continue to learn.   No experience required.
