Sweet Summer {Digital} Special || Bend, Oregon Photographer

Summer is here and it's time to capture those amazing summer moments! Take advantage of this great summer special!

What's the deal?

You get one Lifestyle session, lasting approximately one hour, in or around Bend, with a custom CD and case loaded up with the best images from your session, in high-resolution JPGs. They will look fantastic in YOUR digital albums, or allow me to put one together for you & your loved ones (books or album options are additional).

For a limited time, only $499
(that's a $200 savings!)

Upgrade to a portrait session for only $200 more.

What's the difference?

Lifestyle sessions are sweet, simple sessions... based on activities or locations meaningful to your family. Basically, together we'll pick a place and time, and I'll show up to capture you and your family just being YOU! I help guide your family in it's activities, but generally leave the moments to develop on their own. It's a really fun and relaxed way to capture your family or children at their best - doing what they love. Lifestyle sessions are fully edited, but minimally retouched.

Portrait sessions are a bit more involved... a bit more polished. We discuss time, place and a final look for your images. I'll evaluate whether or not to bring in an assistant, and whether or not to use supplemental lighting. Portrait sessions are fully edited, and retouched when necessary.

Lifestyle session ideas: Evening picnic. Playtime at the park. Sunday pancakes. A visit to the High Desert Museum. Hiking along the river. Golf with daddy. Bubbles in the front yard. Fishing along the river.

It's summer in Bend, folks! The possibilities are endless!

I have limited digital sessions available this summer - so call today to check availability.

Here's an example of a recent Lifestyle session, just hanging out by the river,
down at Farewell Bend park:

What {being a second shooter} looks like || Bend, Oregon Photographer

Together with five other Oregon photographers I am starting my first month of a lifestyle blogging project entitled "What ___________ looks like," an idea inspired by a group of photographers out of Montana.  On the third Monday of each month I will fill in the blank with my own word or concept, and link to the next photographer's blog until the circle is complete.  I hope you take the time to enjoy this monthly photographic journey, and enjoy each of our monthly projects.

What {being a second shooter} looks like.

I recently had the opportunity to work as a second shooter at a wedding for Senneh O'Reilly of Heirloom Images, and I enjoyed it immensely. While I definitely had a shot list to get through, I had a bit more latitude to get creative and make some shots that I wouldn't have had the time to, had there only been one photographer. I don't often shoot weddings because our family lifestyle doesn't lend itself to working every weekend throughout the summer, and I give a huge kudos to my wedding photographer colleagues - some of the hardest working folks in the industry.

After you are done looking through these photos, be sure and scroll all the way down for the link, and visit my good friend - and talented photographer, Jessica Woodford next... you won't want to miss her post!

So, what does being a second shooter look like? Well...

Making silly faces at the wedding party. Smile!

Peek-a-boo!

Cheers!

Ok. My bad. I told them to make silly faces while I dialed in my lighting settings... kinda love this.

Flip Flop Sounds - workin' the party!
Love this... Now THAT's a party!
I hope you enjoyed these images (you can see them big & pretty HERE on my website... now head on over to Jessica's Blog:

Ooohhh... Girly girls! I love it! || Bend Oregon Photography

Living in a house full of testosterone (husband, two boys and two male dogs...), I jump at the chance to work with girls... all pink and frilly - I totally soak it up.

These three cousins came to play at Studio 3 several weeks ago - and I'm so excited to share these images with you... Thanks for coming in to play, little ones. I had such a great time!
