Another Black and White Gem

I love this shot of new parents, lovin' on their first munchkin.

Happy baby. Happy parents.

This takes me back...

I love black and white photographs. I have an entire wall dedicated to them, front and center in my living room.

What's funny, is I seldom work in black and white for clients. I may just have to change that... as I'm falling in love with this session from last week as I develop them in black and white.

Pardon our dust...

This family was adventurous enough to brave the dust of our new space in order to be our very first clients at the new Studio 3! They were a joy to work with - and I got such a baby fix!

This little guy was full of personality - and Oh, those blue eyes...  Back off, ladies! I saw him first!

Where's the Dam elevator?

We're back from our trip to Vegas, and we did manage a whole lot of fun, but alas, my personal project was set the wayside. This is a long story, and one I'll save for another day.

In the mean time, enjoy this picture of the boys, waiting to "evacuate" the Hoover Dam tour - which is another long story, to be saved for yet another day.

A Budding Starlet...

I had the opportunity to help this beautiful lady out with a headshot for an acting class this summer. It was a short and sweet session - amidst the chaos of the last full day of school at Jewell (no, she's not a student there!).  Best of luck in your class, my dear!

Ready for the Bright Lights!

I shot this a few years ago on a trip to Vegas sans-kids and sans-big camera. I do love it, my husband and I were on a shuttle from our time-share and headed up to see a show. It was slow going (as you can see from the traffic) but the colors and sights were plenty to keep us occupied on the march through the Strip.

We're heading out for our annual Vegas Vacation with the kids (yes, absolutely - this could be a very cheesy movie!), and I'm pretty excited. I'm energized creatively - and I really can't wait to just drop everything that's been cluttering my head lately and make some amazing images! I've even got 3 boys who enjoy doing the same and I can't wait to get started!

A great way to kick off summer... wouldn't you say?
